Episode 3 of The Panjwai Podcast brings our first guest onto the show. CPT(R) Matthew Kohler was an Infantry Officer and a Platoon Leader for 1st Platoon, B Company 1-64 Armor. Matt showed up to our platoon midway through our deployment, and was thrust right into the thick of the fight without much time to figure it out, or get to know his guys
What we really appreciated about our chat with Matt was that we had the opportunity to show that the leaders and officers who served with us are human as well, and that the things we expereinced and felt were also experienced and felt by them as well.
Maybe because it was our first interview, and maybe it was the subject matter, but this episode got a bit intense and emotional for all three of us.
